Strelnikov, Aleksey 

Violinist Aleksey Strelnikov was born on 3 September 1966 in Valday (Novgorod region).
In 1985 he graduated from the Central music school and entered the Moscow Conservatory in the class of Professor V. Klimov. Graduated from the Moscow Conservatory (1992). and a post-graduate (in 1994) in the class of Professor S. Girchenko.
Participated in concerts and recorded over a dozen CD's in many chamber ensembles of  the authentic and modern music; for example: "Camerata Boccherini" (I. Monighetti), "Collegium Europae" (W. Kuijken, Holland), "the Academy of Ancient Music" (T. Grindenko), "Exellente", "Lad", "Telemann Consort", "Orpharion", "Contemporary music Ensemble of the composers 'Union", "Barock Baltic", "the Baroque Soloists", "Soloists of Taneyev Music Society" ("Russian Mozarteum"). With the Ensemble of ancient music of the Moscow Conservatory ("Pocket Symphony)", in 1996. he became the winner of “Van Wassenaer international competition” in the Netherlands.
Played in the ensembles with A. Lyubimov, N. Gutman, A. Rudin, A. Galkowski, N. Cojuhari, Y. Martynov, I. Monighetti, M. Bereznitsky. Participated as a soloist and in the ensemble at the festivals: "Days of early music in Moscow" (1989, 90, 91.), "Bach and the French Baroque" in Thun (Switzerland) 1991, "December Nights" (1998), "In memory of A. Schoenberg" (1999), "In Memory of Oleg Kagan" in Moscow and Kreuth (2000), Festival at Lisbon (2000), "Sacro Art" in Germany (2002 and 2003) and the 5th international music festival "Dedication: Sturm und Drang" (2004), Contemporary Music of Finland (2004), To the 250th Anniversary of Mozart (Moscow Conservatoire 2005), "Taneyev Festival" in London (2006), as well as in the festivals "Dialog", "Window to the Netherlands", "Alternativa" in Moscow.
In 2000-2015 as conductor and soloist he collaborated with the Kaluga municipal chamber orchestra. As a soloist he performed with Bryansk orchestra, with the orchestra "Musica Viva", GAKO Russia, "Virtuosos of Moscow" and other Russian orchestras. As orchestrater and arranger he has collaborated with the Vladimir Minin Choir, the orchestra of the Hermitage  n/A. Utkin, "Vivaldi orchestra" by S. Bezrodnaya, the chamber orchestra of Vilnius, the NPR conducted by Vladimir Spivakov, the orchestra "New Russia" and several chamber ensembles. From 1999 to the present time Aleksey Strelnikov is an artist and arranger of the State Chamber orchestra " Moscow Virtuosi" conducted by Vladimir Spivakov.
Since 1997 and currently teaches at the Moscow Conservatory (since 2014. – an Associate-Professor)
Honored artist of Russia (2014).
